Showstopper Chandeliers
I have been searching for a really fantastic chandelier for a client's dining room. It has to be really special because her entry opens right into her vaulted dining room, and we want that fixture to set the tone for the entire space. She already had a fantastic set of Sundance Draper's Cabinets, and we are waiting for this Orient Express Table and Caracole Dining Chairs to arrive. The last and perhaps most important element will be the dining fixture.
Which one should it be?? Here are some of my favorites, in order of preference.
Metro Rectangular Chandelier by Currey & Co - also stunning in silver! The openness, elegance, and scale of this fixture make it my top choice. I also love how the rectilinear lines are repeated in the backs of the chairs and the cubbies of the cabinet.
This is my second favorite option. Josephine Chandelier from Made Goods. I love it for several reasons - how the circles echo the bubble shape of the table legs, the coolness of the silver leaf with the iron frames of the dining chairs, and finally, the warm golds and browns with the brass and wood of the cabinets. What gorgeous texture and mix of materials!
The Briggs Chandelier is a different but interesting option from Eurofase, which is an excellent price point. I like the warm bronze, which would mix well with the materials on the Sundance cabinets. And I love the curvilinear shape that mimics the table's bubble legs.
Here is an elegant choice from Arteriors, the Nessa Chandelier. The client liked some of the gorgeous crystal fixtures from Schonbek, but I just feel like they are too fancy for this space, too cold. This oval glass chandelier achieves a similar effect with more warmth and simplicity. I like its oval shape and cascade of glass pieces.
Another gorgeous option from Currey - Frinton Rectangular Chandelier. I think we've eliminated this one because it's a bit smaller, but it is beautiful nonetheless, so I wanted to include it at the end :)
Which is your favorite? Or do you have another showstopping chandelier you would like to put forth as an option?!
Thanks for stopping by!
